Job summary

State of New Hampshire Liquor Commission seeks an Enforcement Program Assistant II to audit Direct Shipper reports, enforce NH liquor laws, and support licensing activities. You will work under NH Liquor Commission rules, communicate with the Direct Shipper community, and help ensure proper reporting and compliance.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Associate's degree and 1 year of experience OR equivalent combination of 3 years of education and experience after high school.
• Education and experience must be in accounting or auditing work with the responsibility of providing program information to others.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License or access to transportation.

Responsibilities

• Explain, problem solve, and apply licensing rules related to Title XIII laws and federal alcohol laws.
• Identify information needed to file direct shipper monthly reports and ensure accurate filing.
• Apply state liquor laws and regulatory policies to licenses and reporting.
• Evaluate income and deductions for correct tax treatment and classify amounts properly.
• Provide exceptional customer service to licensing and direct shipping customers in person, written, and via phone.
• Prepare standard department forms and direct shipper monthly reports for audit control and tracking.
• Monitor state law changes affecting direct shipper reports and tax liability.
• Assist with validating payments and receipts of funds; maintain professional conduct with the public.
