Job summary

The State of New Hampshire Liquor Commission in Concord NH is seeking a Program Assistant II to support the Beverage Tax Program. You will assist with reviewing and auditing tax reports for completeness and accuracy in line with NH Liquor Laws and Federal Alcohol regulations, communicating with licensees in writing and verbally.

• Associate's degree and 1 year of experience or equivalent combination of 3 years of education and experience after high school in accounting or auditing.
• Education and experience must be in accounting or auditing work with the responsibility of providing program information.
• Valid Driver’s License or access to transportation.

Responsibilities

• Explain and solve licensing issues using Title XIII laws and regulations with clarity.
• Provide guidance on State liquor laws, administrative rules, and procedures to staff and licensees.
• Review monthly Beverage Tax Reports to verify compliance and assist licensees with correct filings.
• Deliver exceptional customer service in person, in writing, and by phone.
• Maintain inventory of product samples and documents.
• Subjects to criminal background and reference checks.
