Job summary

CLEAResult is seeking an entry-level Energy Technician to install energy-saving measures and learn field operations in residential settings around Scotrun, PA. You will work with teammates to reduce home energy bills while gaining hands-on training and safety-focused practices.

Responsibilities include attic insulation, caulking, and minor repairs; assist with truck loading, site setup, and tear-down. Excellent entry path into energy efficiency with daily on-site collaboration.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.

To join our team as an Energy Technician. This is an entry level position where you will work alongside team members and learn how to install energy efficiency measures to reduce home energy bills for residential customers.

• Install energy savings measures including attic insulation (batts and blown), caulking, lightbulbs, showerheads, baseboards, thermostats and electric water heaters
• Perform minor repairs to include windows and doors
• Assist with loading and unloading work trucks
• Assist with keeping the job site organized and safe
• Assist with job site set up and tear down

In this exciting career opportunity, you will have…

• Ability to work under different weather conditions including extreme hot and cold weather
• Sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time
• Crawl, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or reach often working in crawl spaces and under mobile homes for part of the workday
• Use repetitive hand motion & use of basic hand and power tools
• Use of a ladder at various heights (up to 3 stories)
• Lift, carry or push up to 50 pounds as needed
• High School diploma and/or GED
