Job summary

CLEAResult is hiring a Home Energy Technician in Evansville, IN. This entry-level, field-based role focuses on helping homeowners identify energy-saving opportunities and improving efficiency in their homes.

You will visit residences, perform audits, document data, and support contractors while representing CLEAResult on site. The position offers hands-on training, travel within the territory, and the chance to build a career in energy efficiency and sustainability.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience as an energy auditor.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• BPI certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visit residential homes in assigned territory.
• Perform energy audits to identify energy saving opportunities.
• Install and/or verify energy-efficient upgrades.
• Collect and document technical data.
• Act as the on-site face of CLEAResult.
• Support contractors and account managers.
• Troubleshoot and solve technical issues.
• Travel regularly within the territory.

Job Description

We are looking for a talented individual… To join our team as a Home Energy Technician. This is an entry-level, field-based role focused on helping homeowners identify ways to save energy and improve efficiency in their homes. In this position, you will visit residential homes within a defined territory, perform basic energy audits, and support or verify energy-efficient upgrades. You’ll collect and document inspection information, work directly with customers and contractors, and represent CLEAResult on site. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn, comfortable working in the field, and interested in building a career in energy efficiency, sustainability, or technical services.

Target Compensation: $23/hour

Compensation Range Currency Type Hourly Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD/technology), for example.
