Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Energy Storage Project Executive to lead multiple projects with profit accountability and cross‑department collaboration. You will oversee engineering, project controls, finance, and field operations, and guide decision‑making on critical cost and risk aspects.

This role can be fully remote or hybrid with in‑office presence in San Diego, CA. You will mentor teams, drive standard‑setting processes, and ensure timely reporting on cost forecasting and project completion.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in design and/or construction of utility or commercial/industrial infrastructure projects.
• Experience coordinating multiple project teams in remote or hybrid settings.
• Strong contract law and project accounting understanding.
• Proven leadership in diverse teams and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Proficiency with office practices, procedures, and equipment.
• Familiarity with project scheduling, cost control, and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of multiple project teams simultaneously.
• Review and negotiate complex contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Review and approve project schedules, estimates, budgets, and profit margins.
• Make project-level executive decisions on cost and risk impacts.
• Lead and coordinate change management events with Owners and subcontractors.
• Support business development, estimating, and services departments.
• Hire, train, and mentor project team members.
