Job summary

SOLV Energy is a leading provider of infrastructure services to the power industry, delivering solar, storage and high voltage substation projects nationwide. The Energy Storage Project Executive will lead multiple projects, coordinating engineering, controls, finance, and field operations to ensure profitable execution.

The role can be fully remote or hybrid with regular in-office presence in San Diego, CA; interview discussions will confirm location and expectations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of work-related experience in design and/or construction of utility or commercial/industrial infrastructure projects.
• Experience with electrical equipment installation in construction.
• Strong knowledge of contract law and project accounting.
• Excellent English communication and leadership in a remote or hybrid team.
• Proficiency with office practices and equipment; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of multiple project teams simultaneously.
• Review and negotiate complex contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Review and approve project schedules, estimates, budgets, and profit margins.
• Make project level executive decisions on cost and risk impacts to the company.
• Oversee change management events involving Owners, Subcontractors, and regulators.
• Support other departments including business development, estimating, and services.
• Hire, train, and mentor team members for a variety of roles on project teams.
• Develop standards and processes to improve the business.
• Coordinate, lead, and document routine project update meetings with stakeholders.
• Manage risk and mitigation plans with project team and senior management.
