Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Energy Storage Project Executive to oversee multiple projects with profitability accountability. The role offers flexibility as fully remote or hybrid with in-office presence in San Diego, CA, and requires coordinating with engineering, project controls, finance, and field operations.

Responsibilities include leading project teams, negotiating complex contracts, approving schedules and budgets, and driving risk management, change management, and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Leadership ability to pull together remote teams into a cohesive, high‑performing project team
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to work with others under all situations
• Effective written and verbal English communication skills
• Proficiency with office practices, procedures and equipment
• Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and coordinate
• P6 scheduling experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of multiple project teams simultaneously
• Review and negotiate complex contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Review and approve project schedules, estimates, budgets, and profit margin
• Make project level executive decisions on critical aspects of the work involving significant cost and risk impacts to the company
• Provide leadership and oversight of complex change management events involving Owners, Subcontractors, and/or regulating entities
• Provide support to other departments including business development, estimating, and services
• Hire, train, and mentor team members for a variety of roles on project teams
• Support the development of standards and processes to improve the business
• Possess all Project Manager responsibilities including scheduling, cost control, procurement, and client satisfaction
• Maintain timely reporting on cost forecasting and estimated cost at completion
• Oversee preparation of project billings and maximize cash flow
• Present and negotiate change orders with owner for timely resolution
• Coordinate and document routine project update meetings with client and internal stakeholders
• Coordinate with project team to hire third parties and develop scopes of work
• Extensive coordination with material suppliers for timely deliveries
• Review contract conditions for compliance
• Document significant project events and manage risk with mitigation plans
• Ensure jobsite office networking services are set up
• Promote SOLV safety standards and OSHA policies
• Represent the company professionally and uphold its values
