Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Energy Storage Project Executive to lead multiple solar, storage, and high‑voltage substation projects. You will coordinate with engineering, controls, finance, and field operations, owning project profitability and risk management across the portfolio.

The role offers a fully remote or hybrid work arrangement with in-office presence in San Diego, CA, and will involve senior leadership decisions, client negotiations, and cross‑functional oversight.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of work-related experience in design and/or construction of utility or commercial/industrial infrastructure projects.
• Direct relevant industry experience preferred, skilled with knowledge related to the construction and operation of electrical equipment and installation
• Fundamental knowledge of contract law and project accounting
• Leadership ability – able to pull together team members from diverse backgrounds in a remote environment and organize them into a cohesive, high‑performing project team.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to work with others under all situations
• Ability to work, analyze, troubleshoot and prioritize problems independently
• Effective written and verbal English communication skills
• Proficiency and knowledgeable in office practices, procedures and equipment
• Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and coordinate
• P6 scheduling experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of multiple project teams simultaneously.
• Review and negotiate complex contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Review and approve project schedules, estimates, budgets, and profit margin.
• Make project level executive decisions on critical aspects of the work involving significant cost and risk impacts to the company.
• Oversee preparation of project billings; seek to maximize cash flow in and reduce pay cycles.
• Coordinate, lead, and document routine project update meetings with client and internal stakeholders.
• Extensive coordination with material suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and to develop solutions to logistical and supply-chain challenges.
