Job summary

SOLV Energy, a leading provider of infrastructure services to the power industry, is seeking an Energy Storage Project Executive to lead multiple projects across engineering, controls, finance and field operations. You will oversee schedules, budgets and profitability while guiding teams and managing risk and change orders.

This role can be fully remote or hybrid with in-office presence in San Diego, CA. Responsibilities include mentoring staff, negotiating complex contracts, and ensuring safety

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of work-related experience in design and/or construction of utility or commercial/industrial infrastructure projects.
• Direct relevant industry experience preferred, skilled with knowledge related to the construction and operation of the electrical equipment and installation
• Fundamental knowledge of contract law and project accounting
• Leadership ability – able to pull together team members from diverse backgrounds in a remote environment and organize them into a cohesive, high‑performing project team.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to work with others under all situations
• Ability to work, analyze, troubleshoot and prioritize problems independently
• Effective written and verbal English communication skills
• Proficiency and knowledgeable in office practices, procedures and equipment
• Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and coordinate
• P6 scheduling experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of multiple project teams simultaneously.
• Review and negotiate complex contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Review and approve project schedules, estimates, budgets, and profit margin.
• Make project level executive decisions on critical aspects of the work involving significant cost and risk impacts to the company.
• Provide leadership and oversight of complex change management events involving Owners, Subcontractors, and/or regulating entities.
• Provide support to other departments including business development, estimating, and services.
• Hire, train, and mentor team members for a variety of roles on project teams.
• Develop and maintain good relationship with Owner, Engineer, and Subcontractors; build strong partnerships while preserving rights.
• Maintain timely and accurate reporting to management, particularly cost forecasting and ETC.
