Job summary

SOLV Energy in the United States is seeking an Energy Storage Project Executive to lead multiple projects with profit accountability, spanning engineering, controls, finance, and field operations. The role may be fully remote or hybrid with in-office presence in San Diego, CA, with details discussed in interview.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of work-related experience in design and/or construction of utility or commercial/industrial infrastructure projects.
• Experience leading remote project teams and managing multi-disciplinary teams.
• Fundamental knowledge of contract law and project accounting.
• Strong English written and verbal communication.
• Ability to review schedules, budgets, and profit margins.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of multiple project teams simultaneously.
• Review and negotiate complex contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Review and approve project schedules, estimates, budgets, and profit margin.
• Make project level executive decisions on critical aspects of the work involving significant cost and risk impacts to the company.
• Provide leadership and oversight of complex change management events involving Owners, Subcontractors, and/or regulating entities.
• Coordinate, lead, and document routine project update meetings with client and internal stakeholders regarding the status and progress of the work.
• Develop and maintain good relationship with Owner, Engineer, and Subcontractors; develop strategies and skills to build a strong partnership with the Owner, while still ensuring prompt owner notification of impacts and preservation of rights per the Prime Contract.
