Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Energy Storage Project Executive to lead multiple projects nationwide, with bottom-line profit accountability. The role can be fully remote or hybrid with regular in-office presence in San Diego, CA.

You will oversee planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management across engineering, controls, finance, and field operations. Responsibilities include negotiating complex contracts, approving project costs and profit margins, and mentoring project teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of work-related experience in design and/or construction of utility or commercial/industrial infrastructure projects.
• Direct relevant industry experience preferred, skilled with knowledge related to the construction and operation of electrical equipment and installation.
• Fundamental knowledge of contract law and project accounting.
• Leadership ability to manage remote teams and build high-performing project teams.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and prioritize problems independently.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Proficiency with office practices and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of multiple project teams simultaneously.
• Review and negotiate complex contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Review and approve project schedules, estimates, budgets, and profit margin.
• Make project-level executive decisions on cost and risk impacts.
• Oversee complex change management events with Owners, Subcontractors, and regulators.
• Support development of standards and processes to improve the business.
• Hire, train, and mentor team members for various roles on project teams.
