Job summary

DLB Associates seeks a Power Engineer – Energy Storage to deliver engineering for Battery Energy Storage Systems and related interconnections across utility and data center markets. The role blends detailed design with client-facing tasks, working largely on energy storage projects from concept through commissioning.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, perform studies (short‑circuit, harmonic, EMT), and support project delivery while aligning with company standards and safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or higher.
• PE license required or eligible for licensure in the US.
• Experience with utility interconnection and P&C design.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engineering work for BESS, microgrid, and IBR interconnections.
• Coordinate with utilities, developers, and clients on interconnection studies.
• Prepare and review protection schemes and coordination plans.
• Support design development using AutoCAD/REVIT.
