Job summary

DLB Associates is expanding its energy storage engineering services and is seeking a Power Engineer – Energy Storage to support and grow this practice.

This role leads the engineering delivery of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), microgrid, and other inverter-based resources (IBR) interconnections across utility, renewable, data center, and industrial markets, from concept through construction, commissioning, and energization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required.
• PE license in Electrical Engineering preferred or in process.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering design and analysis for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and microgrids.
• Coordinate with utilities, developers, and clients for interconnection studies and filings.
• Prepare engineering deliverables, design reviews, and project documentation.
• Mentor junior staff and support project teams to ensure quality and schedule.
