Job summary

Universal Energy Solutions is hiring full-time Client Retention Representatives to join our Tinley Park team, serving businesses across the Greater Akron area. You’ll work with business owners to review electricity and natural gas supply plans, present competitive options, and recommend solutions that fit each business’s needs.

You’ll focus on existing relationships while growing your book through new opportunities, renewals, and residual commissions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of related sales experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable personal vehicle
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable meeting with business owners face‑to‑face

Responsibilities

• Build lasting relationships with existing commercial customers.
• Meet face-to-face with local business owners and decision-makers.
• Review current electricity and natural gas supply plans.
• Help businesses identify opportunities to reduce their energy costs.
• Recommend energy supplier options based on each customer’s needs.
• Support customers through future renewals and ongoing energy needs.
• Develop new business opportunities between customer appointments.
• Build and grow your own portfolio of commercial accounts.
• Travel throughout an assigned territory (typically within a 30-mile radius of the office).
