Job summary

Universal Energy Solutions is seeking full-time Client Retention Representatives to join our Akron team, serving businesses throughout the Greater Akron area. You will meet with local business owners, review energy plans, and recommend cost-saving options while growing your portfolio and building long-term relationships.

We offer two compensation paths and paid training with ongoing coaching, plus opportunities for leadership advancement as the company expands to 20+ new markets.

Qualifications

• Excellent people skills and ability to build relationships.
• Experience in sales or customer-facing roles preferred.
• Willing to travel within a 30-mile radius of the Akron office.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Build lasting relationships with existing commercial customers.
• Meet face-to-face with local business owners and decision-makers.
• Review current electricity and natural gas supply plans.
• Help businesses identify opportunities to reduce their energy costs.
• Recommend energy supplier options based on each customer’s needs.
• Support customers through future renewals and ongoing energy needs.
• Develop new business opportunities between customer appointments.
• Build and grow your own portfolio of commercial accounts.
• Travel throughout an assigned territory (typically within a 30-mile radius of the office).
