Job summary

Universal Energy Solutions in Union City is hiring a full-time Client Retention Representative to work with local business owners, reviewing electricity and natural gas plans and recommending supplier options to fit business needs.

You’ll nurture existing relationships while growing your book with renewals and new opportunities, traveling within a 30-mile radius as needed. Training and development support are provided to advance into leadership roles.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of related sales experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle.
• Comfortable meeting with business owners face-to-face.

Responsibilities

• Build lasting relationships with existing commercial customers.
• Meet face-to-face with local business owners and decision-makers.
• Review current electricity and natural gas supply plans.
• Identify opportunities to reduce energy costs for customers.
• Recommend energy supplier options based on customer needs.
• Support customers through renewals and ongoing energy needs.
• Develop new business opportunities between customer appointments.
• Grow your portfolio of commercial accounts.
• Travel within an assigned territory (within ~30 miles of the office).
