Job summary

Universal Energy Solutions is hiring full-time Client Retention Representatives to join our Schaumburg team, serving businesses across the Greater Chicago area.

You’ll work with business owners to review energy plans, present supplier options, and build a growing book of renewals through ongoing relationships. The role offers paid training, career development, and multiple compensation paths including commissions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of related sales experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable meeting with business owners face-to-face.

Responsibilities

• Build lasting relationships with existing commercial customers.
• Meet face-to-face with local business owners and decision-makers.
• Review current electricity and natural gas supply plans.
• Help businesses identify opportunities to reduce energy costs.
• Recommend energy supplier options based on needs.
• Support customers through renewals and ongoing energy needs.
• Develop new business opportunities between appointments.
• Build and grow your own portfolio of commercial accounts.
• Travel within a 30-mile radius of the office.
