Universal Energy Solutions seeks a full-time Client Retention Representative in the Houston area to manage and grow a client portfolio. You will review electricity and natural gas plans, compare supplier options, and propose the best solutions for each business.

The role emphasizes relationship-building with residential clients and ongoing renewals, with revenue generated through recurring income as you expand your book of business.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of related sales experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable meeting with business owners face-to-face.

Responsibilities

• Build lasting relationships with existing residential customers.
• Meet face-to-face with decision-makers.
• Review current energy plans and supplier options.
• Identify opportunities to reduce energy costs for customers.
• Recommend energy supplier options based on needs.
• Support renewals and ongoing energy needs.
• Develop new business opportunities between appointments.
• Build and grow a portfolio of commercial accounts.
• Travel within an assigned territory (around 30 miles from the office).
