Job summary

HomeWorks Energy is seeking a Home Energy Specialist to evaluate homes, model energy usage, and propose efficiency improvements. The role combines energy assessments with hands-on product installation and customer education.

The position is full-time, field-based, with weekly or biweekly team meetings in Fairfield, CT. A strong focus is on independent work, reliable transportation, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Valid Massachusetts driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Experience in customer service and sales is a plus.
• Familiarity with Mass Save program is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Mass Save energy assessments at customer sites.
• Model homes in energy software and generate savings reports.
• Recommend insulation, LED lighting, and high-efficiency HVAC.
• Initiate sales and secure service contracts; guide paperwork.
• Install energy-saving products during assessments when applicable.
