Job summary
The HomeWorks Energy Specialist helps homeowners become more energy efficient by performing Mass Save Home Energy Assessments and modeling homes in energy efficiency software. You will diagnose energy usage problems and recommend improvements such as insulation and high-efficiency heating/cooling.
The role combines hands-on installation, sales, and customer education, with paid training and travel within Massachusetts.
Qualifications
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
- Valid MA driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel.
- Previous customer service and sales experience preferred.
- Mass Save program knowledge a plus.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Mass Save home energy assessments and model homes using energy efficiency software.
- Recommend energy-saving measures (insulation, LED lighting, high-efficiency HVAC).
- Initiate sales, secure service contracts, and educate homeowners on benefits.
- Install energy-saving products during assessments and complete paperwork accurately.
- Collaborate with internal teams to cross-sell products and services.
