Job summary

HomeWorks Energy, Inc. is seeking a Home Energy Specialist to perform Mass Save Home Energy Assessments and model homes, helping homeowners become more energy efficient. This field role requires driving to customer sites and reporting to local offices for team meetings.

The position emphasizes energy efficiency guidance, installation of energy-saving products, and customer education. Training begins with paid sessions and continues as you grow in a fast-paced field-based environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• Valid MA driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Previous customer service and sales experience preferred.
• Mass Save program knowledge a plus.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills.
• English reading/writing proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Mass Save home energy assessments and model homes.
• Recommend energy-saving measures such as insulation and high-efficiency HVAC.
• Initiate sales and secure service contracts with customers.
• Educate homeowners on energy efficiency benefits and provide exceptional service.
• Assist customers through paperwork and installation of energy-saving products.
• Travel to Cape Cod region and attend to appointments from home base.
