Job summary

The Home Energy Specialist at HomeWorks Energy, Inc. is a full-time outside sales role focused on helping homeowners improve energy efficiency through Mass Save Home Energy Assessments.

You’ll model homes in energy software, diagnose usage issues, and recommend insulation and high-efficiency HVAC solutions. You will drive to customer appointments from your home, report weekly to local offices (Sutton, Springfield, Woburn, Wareham, Whitham) with HQ in Charlestown, and work primarily on Cape Cod.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• Valid MA driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• MASS Save program knowledge a plus.
• Previous customer service and sales experience preferred.
• BPI Certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Mass Save home energy assessments.
• Model homes using energy efficiency software and generate reports.
• Recommend energy-saving measures like insulation and efficient HVAC.
• Initiate sales and secure service contracts; provide excellent service.
• Assist customers with paperwork and documentation workflows.
• Install energy-saving devices during assessments and document work.
• Stay updated on energy-saving options and collaborate with teams.
