Job summary

Cascade Energy is seeking an Engineer II with energy efficiency, retro-commissioning (RCx) experience to work with industrial and commercial clients. You will lead projects, build optimization models, and write feasibility reports while guiding teams and ensuring quality.

You will gather data, analyze energy savings, and develop recommendations, traveling up to 20% to site visits and coordinating with utilities and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• 1–5 years of engineering experience, preferably in energy or related fields.
• Knowledge of refrigeration, compressed air, steam systems, data-logging, and electrical distribution.
• Experience in energy efficiency for commercial/industrial facilities.
• Experience with retro-commissioning (RCx).
• Experience with Strategic Energy Management (SEM).

Responsibilities

• Lead projects with overall management, direction, and accountability.
• Calculate energy savings for system changes using established tools and methods.
• Engage on-site with industrial facilities to identify energy-efficiency opportunities.
• Document performance data and prepare energy-efficiency reports; stay current on utility programs.
• Support peers through technical discussions and quality control review.
• Travel up to 20% to client sites.
