Job summary

Cascade Energy is seeking an Engineer II with Energy Efficiency and RCx experience to work with clients to assess operations and identify opportunities for energy savings in industrial and commercial facilities. You’ll gather data, build optimization models, and write feasibility reports while leading project management.

You will perform energy-savings analyses, conduct on-site engagements, and communicate complex topics to diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, or a related field of study.
• ~1 – 5 years of engineering experience, preferably in energy or energy related fields.
• ~ Technical knowledge of refrigeration, compressed air systems, steam systems, custom computer modeling of systems, electrical distribution system design, industrial control and data-logging of system results.
• ~ Experience in energy efficiency in commercial and/or industrial facilities.
• ~ Experience doing retro-commissioning (RCx)
• ~ Experience with Strategic Energy Management (SEM)

Responsibilities

• Lead projects with overall management, direction, and accountability.
• Support peers through technical discussions and work review.
• Perform energy-savings analysis using established tools and methods.
• Engage with clients on-site to identify energy-efficiency opportunities.
• Document performance data and develop energy-efficiency reports.
