Job summary

Cascade Energy is seeking an Engineer II with energy efficiency and RCx experience. You will lead projects, model energy savings, and engage on-site with clients to identify opportunities for improving energy performance in industrial and commercial facilities.

Travel about 20% is anticipated; the position is full-time exempt with no fixed office requirement. You will contribute to peer reviews and ensure quality across engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 1–5 years of engineering experience in energy sectors.
• Technical knowledge of refrigeration, compressed air systems, steam systems, data logging.
• Experience in energy efficiency and retro-commissioning (RCx) and SEM.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects with overall management, direction, and accountability.
• Calculate energy savings using established tools and methodologies.
• Engage on-site with clients to identify energy-efficiency opportunities.
• Prepare energy-efficiency reports and document performance data.
