Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a Team Captain – Endzone & Loyalty to lead the athlete experience on the floor, coach teammates, and drive loyalty program engagement. You will deliver fast, friendly checkouts and build strong athlete relationships to boost retention.

In this role, you’ll recruit and develop a team, manage schedules, and ensure adherence to store policies while maintaining a welcoming environment for athletes of all abilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of experience required.
• Previous retail/customer-facing experience required.
• Previous people leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding athlete experiences by assisting customers with product information and promoting loyalty programs.
• Assist with development of 30-60-90 day plans to support priorities and run operations with guidance.
• Communicate goals and plans to teammates and assign workload to maximize efficiency.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, and coach teammates; manage performance and adherence to policies.
• Enforce safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures.
