Job summary

Hive + Co is seeking an Endpoint Computer Refresh Analyst in North Carolina to plan, image, configure, and deploy endpoint devices within a hybrid work model. The role collaborates with Desktop Engineering, Service Desk, and IT Asset Management to ensure smooth lifecycle management for laptops, desktops, and tablets.

The analyst will handle device preparation, imaging, testing, deployment, and post-deployment validation, with a focus on security baselines and policy application.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute the full lifecycle of computer refresh activities, including device preparation, imaging, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-deployment validation.
• Configure laptops and desktops using standard Intune and SCCM imaging processes, ensuring proper policies and security baselines are applied.
• Prepare devices for end users, including peripheral setup, profile configuration, and connectivity verification.
• Conduct scheduled deployment events, workstation swaps, and desk-side refreshes across client locations.
• Apply Intune policies, compliance rules, and application deployments to refreshed devices, aligning with security standards.
• Support mobile device refreshes (iOS/Android) as needed, including enrollment, configuration, and validation.
• Partner with the IT Asset Management Analyst to track device inventory, refresh eligibility, and replacement cycles.
• Maintain accurate CMDB records of device assignments, lifecycle status, and disposal documentation within the ITSM tool.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for employees receiving refreshed devices, providing clear instructions, training, and support during transition.

Job description

The Endpoint Computer Refresh Analyst is responsible for planning, preparing, configuring, and deploying endpoint computers as part of the client\u2019s enterprise hardware refresh program. This role ensures that laptops, desktops, and tablets are properly imaged, secured, documented, and delivered to end users with minimal disruption to operations. The Analyst works closely with Desktop Engineering, the Service Desk, IT Asset Management, and other IT teams to maintain a smooth lifecycle process for all endpoint devices.

Performs duties that advance the client\u2019s Strategic Plan and reflect the organization\u2019s core values of safety, empowerment, accountability, teamwork, and service, and support the mission.

**This position would be hybrid, with 3 days a week in the office and 2 days a week remote. During the first couple of weeks of training, they may be in the office up to 5 days a week.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
