Job summary

SCA Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Endoscopy to develop perioperative plans, monitor patients through anesthesia recovery, and ensure safety and accuracy in medication administration. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and uphold facility policies.

The role requires nursing licensure, GI/OR experience preferred, BLS/BCLS and ACLS/PALS certifications as applicable, and a commitment to patient advocacy and infection control.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current state nursing licensure in good standing.
• BLS/BCLS certification within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Develop an individualized perioperative plan of care.
• Protect patient from injury and ensure safety of equipment and procedures.
• Administer medications safely using the eight rights of medication administration.
• Monitor patient recovery from anesthesia and manage pain as appropriate.
• Maintain endoscopy instruments and ensure readiness of equipment as per policies.
