Job summary

SCA Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Endoscopy to support GI/OR procedures in a fast-paced ambulatory setting. You will develop and implement perioperative care plans, protect patients from injury, administer medications, and ensure instrument readiness across endoscopy suites.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license with GI/OR experience, and possess BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. This role emphasizes patient advocacy, teamwork, and adherence to standards of care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• One year GI, OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state nursing licensure in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Develop an individualized perioperative plan of care.
• Protect the patient from injury and ensure safe operation of equipment.
• administer medications safely and monitor patient status.
• Maintain endoscopy instruments and accessories in working order.
• Provide hand-off reports to teammates and collaborate across the care continuum.
• Demonstrate aseptic technique and adhere to universal precautions.
