Job summary

Interim HealthCare RMC is seeking a Senior Payroll & Compliance Manager to oversee the end-to-end payroll cycle for all employees and act as the primary compliance officer for all payroll-related laws and regulations.

This role requires 5+ years of progressive payroll experience, multi-state compliance, and a Bachelor's degree in a related field; Certified Payroll Professional is preferred. You will lead payroll operations, ensure accuracy, and mentor a small team.

Qualifications

• Education - Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field.
• Experience - 5+ years managing end-to-end payroll for mid to large size organizations.
• Compliance – experience with multi-state payroll tax compliance.
• Preferred Certification – Certified Payroll Professional designation.

Responsibilities

• Payroll Operations – Manage the full payroll processing lifecycle with accuracy and timeliness.
• Compliance Assurance – Monitor, implement, and audit payroll against multi-jurisdiction tax laws.
• System and Team Management – Oversee payroll software and lead a small team.
• Confidentiality and accuracy are essential requirements.
