Job summary

Supplemental Health Care, Inc. is seeking a Payroll Manager to oversee high-quality payroll service, ensure accuracy, and promote our values of caring, expertise, and service. You will lead the payroll team, review payments, manage adjustments, and coordinate with compliance and A/R managers.

The role requires a degree or equivalent experience, strong leadership, and proficiency with pay bill systems and payroll law. On-site Virginia location with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or 5 years' experience required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processes and tax rules.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and payroll software.

Responsibilities

• Act as resource expert for payroll questions and process improvements.
• Prepare and submit ACH transfers and wires.
• Print and review payroll checks and direct deposits.
• Manage weekly talent/payroll reporting and garnishment orders.
• Provide pre-post revenue information to senior leadership and assist FP&A with analysis.
• Conduct regular one-on-ones, evaluations and coaching for team members.
