Qualifications

• Determine donor eligibility with informed consent, self-exclusion, and medical history.
• Evaluate donor reactions per facility SOPs and immediate care guidelines.
• Follow SOPs for medical emergencies and assist with standing orders.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for unclear findings.
• Support vaccination programs (Hepatitis B, Seasonal Flu).
• Manage employee incidents per EHS guidance.
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS/Medical Affairs.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, self-exclusion, medical history, physical exam, and SPE review.
• Evaluate donor reactions as outlined in SOPs.
• Assist with medical emergencies and donor transport per standing orders.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for medical/technical guidance.
• Support vaccination programs for employees when applicable.
• Oversee occupational health/ER incidents per EHS guidance.
