Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent incl. nursing program and state requirements.
• Current EMT licensure/certification: EMT-B, EMT-A, EMT-I, or EMT-P; LPN/LVN or RN.
• CPR and AED certification are required.
• Complete FDA training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.
• Two years of clinical or hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, informed consent, medical history, examination and testing per SOPs.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies; coordinate with Center Physician.
• Support vaccination programs and occupational health requirements.
• Provide center-level EHS support and incident investigations as needed.
