Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Las Vegas, NV seeks a Medical Support Specialist to support plasma center operations. You will determine donor eligibility, manage donor adverse events, review lab results, and notify donors of unsuitable tests under supervision of Center Manager and Center Physician.

Candidates should hold a state nursing license or EMT certification, CPR/AED, and have at least two years in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with state nursing requirements.
• Licensed EMT (B, A, I or P) in the state.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.
• FDA training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist completed.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, informed consent, and medical history review.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for unacceptable findings or guidance.
• Support vaccination programs and occupational health initiatives.
• Ensure donor safety and compliance with EHS guidance.
