BioLife Plasma Services in Janesville, WI seeks a Medical Support Specialist with EMT credentials to determine donor eligibility, review lab results, and manage donor safety. You will work under the Center Manager and Center Physician to support plasma center operations and ensure quality care.

You will participate in donor safety programs, handle medical emergencies per SOPs, and collaborate with Medical Affairs and EHS. This role offers predictable scheduling and comprehensive benefits.

Formación

• Licensed EMT in appropriate state (EMT-B/EMT-A/EMT-I/EMT-P)
• Current CPR and AED certification
• Clinical patient care experience preferred

Responsabilidades

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent and medical history
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs
• Coordinate with Center Physician/Medical Affairs on medical or technical issues
• Support vaccination programs for employees (Hepatitis B, Seasonal Flu)
• Manage employee incidents with EHS guidance as needed
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS/Medical Affairs

High school diploma or equivalent with nursing program graduate equivalency
