Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a Medical Support Specialist to support plasma center operations. You will determine donor eligibility, monitor safety, review test results, and assist with donor notifications under medical guidance.

Responsibilities include handling donor reactions, following SOPs for emergencies, and coordinating with Center Physician. A clinical background and active licensure are required, with benefits and career growth available.

Qualifications

• Must hold EMT licensure in applicable state (EMT-B/A/I/P).
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.
• Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy.
• Complete BioLife FDA training for Medical Support Specialist.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent, history, physical exam, and tests.
• Evaluate donor reactions and medical emergencies following SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for guidance on medical issues.
• Support vaccination programs for employees as applicable.
• Manage occupational health issues and incidents per EHS guidance.
