Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, a Takeda subsidiary, seeks a Medical Support Specialist to support plasma center operations at the Fond du Lac location. You will determine donor eligibility, review test results, manage donor safety, and support medical affairs and EHS programs in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Partner with Center Manager and Center Physician to ensure adherence to SOPs, safety protocols, and quality standards while contributing to a compassionate donor experience.

Qualifications

• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting
• Familiar with regulations of plasma collection or manufacturing environment
• Regulatory guidance from BioLife Medical Affairs and EHS involvement

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, medical history, and acceptance requirements
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for medical/technical guidance
• Support vaccination programs (Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu) for employees
• Manage occupational health/ER incidents per EHS guidance
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and assist investigations
