Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, including nursing program graduate
• EMT-B, EMT-A, EMT-I or EMT-P license (state)
• CPR and AED certification
• Fulfill state IV therapy requirements
• Complete FDA training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility with informed consent and screening processes
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for unresolved medical issues
• Support employee vaccination programs (Hepatitis B, Seasonal Flu)
• Manage employee incidents with EHS guidance
• Serve as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS/Medical Affairs
