Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services seeks a Medical Support Specialist to determine donor eligibility, review test results, and support plasma center operations. You will work under the Center Manager and Center Physician, ensuring donor safety and adherence to regulatory standards.

Requirements include active EMT licensure in the applicable state, current CPR/AED certification, and at least two years in a clinical or hospital setting. The role offers part-time hours with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• EMT-B, EMT-A, EMT-I, EMT-P, LPN/LVN or RN licensure in applicable state
• CPR/AED certification current
• Two years clinical or hospital experience required

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, medical history, exam and tests
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs
• Refer complex cases to Center Physician or Medical Affairs
• Support vaccination programs for employees (Hepatitis B, Seasonal Flu)
• Manage employee incidents with EHS guidance
• Potential Pandemic Coordinator role as authorized by EHS/Medical Affairs
