Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking an Medical Support Specialist to determine donor eligibility, manage donor safety, and support plasma collection operations. You will work under the Center Manager and Center Physician, ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality care for donors.

Requirements include EMT-B/EMT-A/EMT-I/EMT-P or nursing licensure, CPR/AED, and at least two years of clinical experience. Expect a full-time on-site role with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within

Qualifications

• Licensed EMT-B/EMT-A/EMT-I/EMT-P credentials and/or RN/LPN licensure as applicable per state requirements.
• CPR and AED certification must be current.
• Two years of clinical or hospital experience preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, medical history, and physical examination.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs and standing orders.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for guidance on medical or technical issues.
• Support vaccination programs (Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu) for employees where applicable.
• Manage employee incidents with EHS guidance and assist investigations as needed.
