Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking an Medical Support Specialist with EMT credentials to determine donor eligibility, manage donor safety, and review laboratory results to support plasma donation operations. The role works under the Center Manager and Center Physician for medical guidance.

Candidates should hold EMT certifications (EMT-B/A/P or RN/LPN), CPR/AED, and have at least two years in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Licensed EMT with active state credentials (EMT-B, EMT-A, EMT-P, or RN/LPN) and CPR/AED.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.
• Familiarity with plasma donation regulations and EHS guidance.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent and screening.
• Manage donor adverse events and medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Review lab test results and communicate unsuitable findings to donors.
• Support vaccination programs for employees (Hepatitis B, Seasonal Flu).
• Coordinate with Center Manager/Physician for medical guidance.
