Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Director of Supplier Development Engineering to shape supplier capability and resilience for its global supply base. You will lead a team of 45 supplier quality professionals and 5 direct reports, guiding APQP/PPAP processes, capacity expansion, and new product introductions to support Data Center growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a technical discipline.
• Minimum 12 years in supplier development or related fields.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive leadership experience.
• Experience leading large-scale supplier capability improvement initiatives.
• Experience with new product introductions, capacity expansions, and supplier transfers.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional supplier development strategy aligned with Global Procurement objectives.
• Drive APQP/PPAP and readiness initiatives for scaling suppliers.
• Develop supplier capability improvements across manufacturing processes.
• Oversee risk identification and mitigation for high-risk suppliers.
• Champion Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies across the supply base.
