AMR is hiring an EMS Call Receiver in Massachusetts to respond to emergency and non-emergency calls, assign transportation, and ensure clear communications to support caregivers and customers. The role requires adherence to Emergency Medical Dispatch standards and accurate documentation.

You will handle data entry, reports, and routing decisions, while maintaining knowledge of all policies and procedures. This full-time position offers immediate start and benefits options.

Qualifications

• Must read and write proficiently in English.
• Able to communicate clearly over radio and telephone.
• Capable of accurate, timely data entry and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency and non-emergency EMS calls; assign and route transportation.
• Follow Emergency Medical Dispatch protocols and company procedures.
• Maintain complete and accurate paperwork before shift end.
• Enter shift data accurately and handle state reporting tasks as assigned.
• Generate reports and verify information for accuracy.
• Assist in locating incident scenes and selecting fastest/safest routes.
• Relay instructions and information as directed by supervisors.
• Maintain knowledge of policies, procedures, and memoranda.
• Adhere to established request formats for service.
• Operate equipment including 911 systems, computers, printers, and phones.
