Job summary

AmeriPro Health is seeking a Communications Specialist to handle emergency and non-emergency ambulance requests, enter data into CAD, and relay critical information to crews. The role supports interfacility transports and 911 calls while maintaining accuracy and triage priorities.

The position requires six months in customer service or call center work, basic CAD proficiency, and strong English communication. Shift flexibility including nights, weekends, and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Six+ months in customer service or direct customer contact.
• Six+ months of call center experience in a fast-paced environment.
• EMD program within 1–3 months of hire and maintenance of certification.

Responsibilities

• Answer and prioritize emergency and non-emergency calls.
• Dispatch crews and monitor routes/status.
• Provide pre-arrival instructions and crisis intervention.
• Communicate critical details to ambulance crews.
• Operate multi-line phone and radio systems.
• Enter call data into CAD and maintain records.
• Verify insurance information accurately.
• Work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
