Job summary

Seals Ambulance Service Inc. is seeking a Communications Manager to oversee the 24/7 Dispatch Center, manage staff, and ensure compliant, efficient operations.

The role involves coordination with Operations leadership, maintaining HIPAA standards, and ensuring accurate call handling and reporting. Ideal candidates have EMT/Paramedic certification, dispatch leadership experience, and strong knowledge of CAD systems and radio communications.

Qualifications

• Two years of operational management experience is preferred.
• Ability to lead, coach, and direct dispatch staff.
• All Dispatch and Dispatcher requirements must be met as per policy.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA, EMD protocols, and internal policies.
• Ability to maintain calm, professional communication in high-stress situations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations in the communications center.
• Coordinate with supervisors to ensure adequate staffing and vehicle deployment.
• Maintain security and privacy of patient information and company data.
• Record calls, dispatches, and messages accurately.
• Recruit, interview, and onboard dispatch personnel as needed.
