Job summary

AMERIMED MEDICAL SOLUTIONS LLC is seeking Telecommunicator I/II to handle inbound and outbound calls, dispatch EMS units, and manage radio communications in a fast-paced MedComm center. The role requires accuracy, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate information for callers and field crews.

Responsibilities include logging data in the CAD system, prioritizing requests, and supporting pre-scheduled resource coordination for the next day.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Typing 35 words per minute or greater.
• Public safety dispatch experience beneficial.
• Must be trustworthy, honest, dependable, detail oriented and an excellent communicator.

Responsibilities

• Take inbound calls and outbound specialty calls as Telecommunicator I.
• Dispatch EMS units as Telecommunicator II and manage two-way radio/paging systems.
• Log information accurately and relay ETAs to facilities and departments.
• Prioritize requests based on urgency and information; document all communications.
• Maintain CAD records and coordinate pre-scheduled resources for the next day.
