Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics in Texas is seeking a passionate Special Education Teacher to empower students and collaborate with ARD committees to design IEPs tailored to each learner’s needs.

You will deliver differentiated instruction in inclusion and resource settings, monitor progress with data, and partner with general education staff, families, and related service providers to support student success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Education, or related field.
• Texas Educator Certification in Special Education (EC-12) through TEA.
• Knowledge of IDEA and ARD process; CPR certification preferred.
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop IEPs with ARD committee to tailor education.
• Deliver differentiated instruction in inclusion and resource settings.
• Monitor progress with data collection and analysis to meet IEP goals.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families; participate in ARD/ MDT discussions.
• Implement behavior intervention plans and classroom management strategies.
