Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to empower students and support schools with individualized education programs and inclusive instruction. You will collaborate with ARD teams to tailor IEPs, deliver differentiated lessons, and monitor progress across multiple settings.

The role emphasizes collaboration with educators and families, data-driven planning, and positive behavior support to foster growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field.
• Texas Educator Certification in Special Education (EC-12) required.
• Knowledge of IDEA and ARD process; CPR certification preferred.
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) with ARD committee tailored to each student.
• Deliver differentiated instruction in inclusion and resource settings to meet student needs.
• Monitor and analyze data to assess progress toward IEP goals.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families; participate in ARD meetings.
• Promote positive behavior with behavior intervention plans and classroom strategies.
• Address academic, social, and emotional needs with individualized support and accommodations.
