Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking a passionate Special Education Teacher in Texas to empower students and schools. You will develop IEPs with ARD, provide differentiated instruction in diverse settings, and monitor progress to ensure goals are met.

Role emphasizes collaboration with teams, implementing behavior plans, and supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional growth. Flexible scheduling is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field.
• Texas EC-12 Special Education Certification (TEA) required.
• Knowledge of IDEA and ARD process; CPR certification preferred.
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) with ARD committee.
• Deliver differentiated instruction in inclusion and resource settings.
• Monitor student progress and data to ensure IEP goals are met.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families.
• Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and classroom management strategies.
• Address academic, social, and emotional needs with accommodations and modifications.
