Job summary

Qualifications

• Texas EC-12 Special Education certification (TEA) required.
• Knowledge of IDEA and ARD process.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) with ARD committee.
• Provide differentiated instruction in inclusion and resource settings.
• Monitor student progress with data-driven decisions to meet IEP goals.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, related service providers and families.
• Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and manage inclusive classrooms.
